The Colts had a need for a tight end with Sean McKeon landing on IR with an undisclosed injury. In comes journeyman Pharaoh Brown, who is coming off a seven-game showing with the Cardinals in 2025. The 32-year-old has spent time with eight different organizations during his nine years in the NFL, including a stint with the Colts during the 2023 preseason. Brown hauled in only two catches with Arizona last year, but he hauled in 13 catches for 208 yards with the Patriots in 2023.
The Colts are fine atop the depth chart with Tyler Warren and Mo Alie-Cox leading the way. Brown could compete for a roster spot behind that duo, with Drew Ogletree, Will Mallory, and Carson Towt representing the rest of the depth at the position.
