According to the NFL transaction report, the San Francisco 49ers recently worked out three offensive linemen:
The Chicago Bears selected Kramer in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks, appearing in 18 career games.
Michalski entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos in 2025. He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
The Cardinals selected Smith in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 19 career games with the Cardinals, New England Patriots, and Green Bay Packers, making four starts.
The 49ers recently signed offensive lineman Kion Smith to a one-year deal, but the team’s roster moves along the offensive line may not be complete. San Francisco could simply be evaluating potential options in case additional depth is needed.
Several 49ers offensive linemen are currently dealing with injuries. Rookie Carver Willis, a fourth-round draft pick, suffered a concussion. Meanwhile, Nick Zakelj is dealing with an elbow injury, while Brett Toth has an undisclosed injury.
Offensive tackle Vederian Lowe remains out with a high-ankle sprain.
Additionally, the 49ers reached an injury settlement with defensive lineman William Bradley-King, who landed on the team’s injured reserve list after being waived with an injury designation.
