Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders record an increment in their pay
As per reports, there is reportedly a 400% raise in the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders’ pay.While it has not been revealed how much the popular cheerleaders are being paid per match now, they were previously getting $400 per match.In 2019, the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders advocated for an increase in pay from $200 to $400 per match and the rate has remained the same in the last seven years, despite their massive popularity.Apart from being paid per match, Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are also paid separately for their special appearances at events.As per the Associated Press, former cheerleader Jada McLean opened up about the increment as she said, “Happy’ isn’t even the right word for it…I think I was just . . kind of felt, like, a relief, like everything had paid off. And it was, you know, finally, we were done fighting.”The Dallas Cowboys four year veteran Megan McElaney weighed in on it as she said, “Our efforts were heard and they wanted to give us a raise…And we ended up getting a 400 percent increase, which is like, life-changing.”
