SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Adam Vinatieri is officially a Pro Football Hall of Famer.
This morning the Rapid City Central High School and South Dakota State University graduate was one of six inductees being honored at the ceremony.
He had many jokes with old friends but started off the speech thanking the people who made it all possible.
Including a heartwarming moment with his mom and dad, followed by his siblings.
Adam Vinatieri, Hall of Fame kicker said, “Chad, Christina, and Bo, thank you for being my first teammates, my first competitors, and some of my biggest supporters. Growing up together taught me how to compete, how to laugh at myself, and reminded me that no matter where football took me, South Dakota would always be home.”
