“It’s definitely important to build that camaraderie together, that consistency of playing together,” Howard said. “I think that’s why I feel like it’s been a great opportunity this camp to see a lot of guys rotate in. So, a lot of guys may be able to play against, play with guys, play beside different guys, and you get a chance to see how that player is and how you fit together. So, us being able to get the reps in camp, is only going to help us out when the season comes.”

As training camp has progressed, the offensive line has limited the Browns’ dominant defensive line more. During a live pass rush drill at the end of practice on Aug. 6, the offensive line kept the pocket clean multiple times. Fano also won two out of three reps against DE Jared Verse.
