GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur announced on Tuesday that the current plan is to play Jordan Love on Thursday in the first preseason game of the year against the Steelers.
“He will, as of right now. I always have the right to change my mind,” said LaFleur.
He says it will be a fluid situation on how many snaps Love will get on Thursday.
“I do think there is a lot of value for all our guys to just get mentally prepared to play a game, whether it’s one play, whether it’s three plays, ten plays, the whole game. I think there is a ton of value in that, just getting your process down,” said LaFleur.
Love played in week one of the preseason against the Jets last season for two drives, completing one pass in five attempts, neither led to any points.
