The New Orleans Saints enter the 2026 season with an interesting outlook. They don’t have immense talent on paper, but they were still able to string together productive performances to end the 2025 season once Tyler Shough got into a rhythm.
With Shough having a full offseason as the starting quarterback, plus new offensive additions being added this offseason, their offense could end up being sneaky good. With that, Marissa Myers and Steve Bradshaw look at the players with the best value in 2026 fantasy football in New Orleans.
Devaughn Vele, Wide Receiver- Marissa
Vele is primarily a deep threat, but that still helps raise his value as a fantasy pick even more. While his 2025 stats don’t necessarily stand out with having produced 293 yards and two touchdowns, but he showed further promise as a receiver as soon as Rashid Shaheed took over and Tyler Shough ended up gaining chemistry with him.
While Chris Olave and Jordyn Tyson will command most of the attention, Vele will still end up having immense success with having a different skill set compared to those two.
With Vele currently being around the WR95 range, he won’t offer the consistent weekly value, but he offers the upside to be a great bench stash weekly for fantasy managers to store.
Jordyn Tyson, Wide Receiver- Steve
Jordyn Tyson has a low floor given the presence of Chris Olave, his injury history, and questions around Tyler Shough.
