The San Francisco 49ers continue their preseason schedule Thursday night at SoFi Stadium vs. the Los Angeles Chargers in a game that’ll look a little different than their preseason opener.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated at least some of his healthy starters will play vs. the Chargers after the 49ers got pushed around a bit in their joint practice with LA on Tuesday.

Thursday will be a good opportunity for San Francisco’s first team to go through the motions of game reps against an opponent with three weeks to go until their regular season opener.
