Placed CB Tariq Castro-Fields on Injured Reserve
Castro-Fields, a Penn State product, joined the Eagles’ practice squad in the middle of the 2024 season and was part of the Super Bowl LIX Championship Team.
A long corner at 6-foot-1, 197 pounds, Castro-Fields spent time on the Eagles’ practice squad again last season and was looking to break into the rotation for a roster spot in 2026. A former sixth-round pick of the 49ers, Castro-Fields has played in 12 career regular-season games with Washington and Carolina. Castro-Fields was sidelined with a heel injury.
Waived WR Johnny Wilson with an injury designation
Sidelined with a knee injury, the former sixth-round pick out of Florida State was looking to return to the field after missing all of the 2025 campaign with knee and ankle injuries.
The 6-foot-6 Wilson played in 16 games as a rookie in 2024, catching five passes for 38 yards and a touchdown.
