STORRS, CT. (WFSB) – Anticipation is building for the start of football season for the UConn Huskies.
They have been hard at work for more than three weeks of training camp.
Head Coach Jason Candle is fine tuning a game plan for the opener against Lafayette.
All the new players on the roster are becoming familiar with the way of doing things and Candle is happy with his team’s progression towards it’s first game.
As for the starting quarterback competition, Candle said that it is tight with small margins of difference. It is unclear who will start against Lafayette.
