New England Patriots to play final preseason game Thursday on WMUR
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The final preseason game for the New England Patriots will be played Thursday night when the team takes on the Cleveland Browns.
The past few weeks have given players a chance to prove themselves to make the final roster, either for the Patriots or another team.
Wide receiver Pop Douglas said he’s proud of how the team has come together in the past three weeks.
“It’s going good,” he said. “This group is one-of-a-kind. I feel like I’m learning as I go.”
Key starters such as Drake Maye and Christian Gonzalez are not expected to play.
The Patriots begin the regular season on Sept. 9.
Thursday’s preseason game will air on WMUR-TV.
