Two powerhouse Texas brands are coming together.

The Dallas Cowboys and H-E-B announced on Wednesday that the two sides are partnering up, with H-E-B becoming the official grocer and pharmacy partner of the Cowboys. The multi-year partnership with the San Antonio-based store chain will include ticket and merchandise giveaways, in-store and in-game activations, tailgating and pop-up events — and community outreach opportunities.

Not to mention — a string of commercials starring Cowboys players and head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

The first crop of those commercials has been released and was rather well-received — the ads feature a handful of Cowboys personalities and are good for a chuckle or two.

In perhaps the most popular of the new commercials, Dak Prescott invites Brandon Aubrey over to “kick it.”

Next, first-round safety Caleb Downs learns a valuable lesson: They’re just called “cheesesteaks” here.

One commercial has DeMarvion Overshown sharing a salacious, tortilla-related rumor about his quarterback.

And finally, the Cowboys celebrate the big news of the partnership with H-E-B, with a Mariah Carey needle drop.

Expect more where that came from as the grocer continues to ramp up its presence in North Texas, especially if the Cowboys live up to the hype that’s starting to swirl around the team this season.
