A semi-truck hauling 40,000 pounds of cheese plunged into a ravine near Whiteriver, scattering its load below U.S. 60. The rig crashed through a guardrail, over boulders and down a steep ravine. Its 40,000-pound cheese shipment scattered across the ground below. The driver said he swerved to avoid an animal, while investigators say fatigue may also have played a role.
