The Detroit Lions are bringing a Motor City-inspired twist to their look with their new “Defend the Den” Nike NFL Rivalries jersey, which goes on sale Tuesday, September 1.

Official 2026 NFL Rivalries jerseys & gear are available now for purchase.

Detroit’s Rivalries uniform starts with a white jersey accented by Honolulu Blue and black, including italicized numbers designed to create a sense of motion. Carbon-fiber detailing connects the look to Detroit’s automotive and racing heritage, while “Detroit” is displayed across the chest and “Defend the Den” is inscribed inside the collar. The uniform is completed by a Honolulu Blue helmet featuring black elements that are meant to evoke the focused gaze of a lion.

Fans will be able to purchase the new Lions Rivalries jerseys and accompanying apparel beginning Tuesday through NFL Shop, Nike, Fanatics, team stores and select retailers. Detroit will then bring the “Defend the Den” look to the field in Week 8, wearing it at home against the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings on November 1.
