If the Indianapolis Colts are still looking to add to their roster, Pro Football Network believes that free agent linebacker Kyzir White should be on Chris Ballard’s radar.
“White has the traits of a three-down linebacker, and he would be a strong fit next to Franklin,” wrote PFN. “Once a safety, he offers good athleticism, and he flies around the field as a tackler.”

White was a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft by the LA Chargers and would bring ample experience to the Colts‘ linebacker room–something they need–having played 4,707 career snaps, appearing in 92 games while making 73 starts.
White has been a very sound tackler over his career and found success last season as a blitzer, generating 21 pressures, according to PFF. In coverage, he had one interception and one pass breakup, while allowing 12.0 yards per catch.
If there’s a position where making an addition still makes sense, linebacker might be it. A signing doesn’t mean that Jaylon Carlies won’t start, but bringing in an experienced player like White would add some stability to this position group.
Beyond Zaire Franklin, Carlies’ 242 career defensive snaps are the second-most at this position for the Colts.

Not that any free agent signing at this stage of the offseason is going to break the bank, but the Colts have ample cap space to make an addition if Ballard wants to go down that path, whether it’s White or another player.
