GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Packers have announced their game themes and activities for the 2026 home schedule at Lambeau Field, highlighted by a special halftime tribute to former team President and CEO Bob Harlan.
Harlan’s name will be permanently unveiled on the northeast façade of the stadium during a halftime ceremony on late October, when the Packers host the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football. The tribute will honor his legendary legacy and decades of leadership that helped shape the modern franchise.
The celebration is part of a full lineup of game-day themes and promotions announced by the team for the upcoming regular season:
Week 3 (Thursday, Late September) vs. Atlanta Falcons: The home opener features the annual Packers Alumni Weekend, welcoming back dozens of former players from different eras.Early October vs. Chicago Bears: The Packers will debut their brand-new “NFL Rivalries” alternate uniforms, sideline apparel, and merchandise.Mid-October vs. Dallas Cowboys: The annual “Packers Vs. Cancer” game, presented by UW Health | Carbone Cancer Center, will raise funds and honor cancer survivors.November vs. Minnesota Vikings: The “Salute to Service” game will feature programming to show appreciation for active-duty military members and veterans.December vs. Buffalo Bills: Green Bay will wear its “1923 Classic” throwback uniforms with “leather” painted helmets, while also highlighting the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.Late December vs. Miami Dolphins: The matchup will highlight the NFL’s “Inspire Change” initiative.January vs. Houston Texans: The team will celebrate youth fitness and healthy lifestyles through the league’s “Play 60” initiative.Jan. 9 or 10 vs. Detroit Lions: The regular-season finale will serve as the “Fan Appreciation Game” with special giveaways to thank fans.
