GREEN BAY, Wis. (WNDU) – Notre Dame fans are already making their presence felt ahead of the team’s season opener against the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday night at Lambeau Field.
Fans arrived in Green Bay early for the Shamrock Series matchup at the legendary home of the Packers.
One fan, Kelly Leonard, said attending the game fulfilled a longtime goal.
“Oh my God, this has been a bucket list to see Lambeau Field, Leonard said. ”And when I heard Notre Dame was going to be here, it was two gifts from God at the same time. So I said, I’m not missing this trip. I got to see this game.”
Kickoff for Sunday night’s matchup is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. If you’re not in Green Bay, you can watch the game on WNDU.
Countdown to Kickoff debuts Sunday
WNDU is launching its first Countdown to Kickoff show of 2026 on Sunday. Brendan Reidy and Isaiah Dunn will host the show, providing game day updates, live interviews and information ahead of kickoff. The show airs Sunday at noon on WNDU.
