Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoyed another newlywed date night in New York over the weekend, and a behavioral analyst says the couple’s public dynamic has noticeably changed since they got married.
The singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, were seen having dinner at Ambassadors Clubhouse New York, a restaurant located in Manhattan’s upscale NoMad neighborhood, on Sunday, September 6.

The couple tied the knot just two months earlier, on July 3 at Madison Square Garden, and during their latest public appearance, behavioral analyst Darren Stanton told Covers that Kelce displayed a particularly protective and attentive attitude toward Swift while remaining highly aware of everything happening around them.
According to Stanton, the relationship now appears more stable and comfortable than during the early stages of their romance, when the couple was constantly in the spotlight.
Travis Kelce showed his protective side with Taylor Swift
The body language expert analyzed several of the Chiefs star’s gestures during the outing, especially the way he positioned himself close to Swift.
“Not only is Travis her husband and partner, in this situation, he has got a lot of awareness of his surroundings,” Stanton told Covers. “He has got his torso pointed towards Taylor, which is a protection gesture. He is very cautious and his eyes are looking around. It’s almost a primal instinct. At that moment, he looks very hypervigilant.”
The analyst also highlighted an image in which Kelce appears holding Swift’s hand while she looks downward.
“In another photo, Travis is holding her hand. Taylor isn’t waving to cameras and is looking down, and her shoulders are up,” Stanton said. “Travis isn’t smiling and looks quite serious. He seems very conscious of making sure that his wife is feeling okay.”
Stanton believes this attitude could be connected to the new chapter in their relationship, with the couple now looking to protect their private moments more.
“They are a very high-profile couple, and I think they want some downtime for themselves,” he said. “Travis has taken on a lot of responsibility since he got with Taylor. It’s clear that he loves her deeply and that is reciprocated.”

A more stable couple away from the spotlight
According to Stanton, one of the biggest changes is that Swift and Kelce no longer appear to seek the same level of media attention they did at the beginning of their relationship.
“Since they’ve got married, they’ve moved on from being a showbiz couple that are constantly on show and being on their best behaviour,” he said. “The main difference is that they are not so eager to be the life and soul of the party and get papped by the cameras. They’ve reached a point in their marriage where they want to go out for a regular, chilled dinner.”
For the analyst, this transformation represents a positive evolution in their relationship.
“The body language doesn’t have the same degree of animation,” Stanton said. “Initially when they first got together, they were playing up to the cameras. Now they are husband and wife, in a positive sense, they have become more stable and don’t have to perform for the paparazzi.”
He added:
“They seem very comfortable as people in their relationship. Taylor and Travis gel together as one person.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoy dinner before the NFL season
According to People, Swift and Kelce shared dinner with two companions in the restaurant’s main dining area and ordered “a variety of classics from the menu.”
The Northern Indian restaurant specializes in dishes inspired by the Punjab region and draws inspiration from traditional celebration mansions in that area.
A source revealed that Swift wore a long gold and brown silk dress, while Kelce opted for a more casual style with chinos, a short-sleeve shirt, and checkered sneakers.
The outing took place just days before Kelce begins his 14th NFL season with the Chiefs.
Kansas City will open the regular season against the Denver Broncos on Monday, September 14, in what could potentially be the final year of the legendary tight end’s career in the league.
