Top NFL prediction markets for Week 2
While there are several trending NFL prediction markets this week, a few of them stand out more than others. Things get rolling in the 1 p.m. slate with an NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings following the Bears’ 59-point outing.
It ends with a Sunday Night Football matchup back at Arrowhead Stadium between the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts. There was plenty to be excited about with the Chiefs in Week 1 with Patrick Mahomes return, however, it was the reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker who stole the show with his 173-yard outing in Andy Reid’s new run-first scheme.
Another NFC North Shootout? Vikings vs Bears
Following the Chicago Bears’ historic 59-37 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, they are just under a touchdown favorite against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. This marks the Bears’ home opener at Soldier Field and first NFC North matchup of the year.

Caleb Williams stole the show with 269 yards, two passing touchdowns, and two rushing touchdowns while D’Andre Swift dominated with 124 rush yards and three touchdowns of his own.
While the defense looked a bit sketch in allowing 478 yards to go with the Panthers’ 37 points, this is a great spot for them to get right as the Vikings lost Kyler Murray to a concussion, leaving Carson Wentz as the starter.
Primetime slot for Chiefs vs Colts SNF
Closing out the Sunday slate of Week 2 NFL is a Sunday Night Football matchup at Arrowhead Stadium between the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs come in off an impressive Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos, while the Colts suffered a 41-23 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

It’s a new era in Kansas City as the Chiefs turn to more of a run-first offense following Patrick Mahomes ACL tear last season. In doing so, Kenneth Walker was a man on a mission in Week 1 with 23 carries for 173 yards and a touchdown, averaging 7.5 yards per carry. Not to say Mahomes didn’t play well, as he totaled 184 passing yards, 23 rushing yards, and three total touchdowns of his own.
With the new-look offense, Indianapolis could be in for another tough week, having allowed over 500 yards in Week 1, including 144 yards and three touchdowns from Derrick Henry. The Colts are already coming off a rough offensive outing of their own with roughly 250 yards of offense and two turnovers. The Chiefs held Denver to just 176 total yards last week.
How does Kalshi work?
Kalshi is a prediction market that offers event contracts on every NFL game of the season, including the Week 2 slate. The event contracts are offered at game lines, with prices and percentages setting the value of each selection. The team with the higher price is the favorite to win. All event contracts settle at either $1 if they win or $0 if they lose.
Your profit for winning contracts is the difference between the trading price and $1. Using the Chiefs vs. Colts as an example, Kansas City is favored at 74% while the Colts have 28%. That said, trading on the Chiefs would profit $.26 per share while the Colts net $.72 per share.
