OBJ is getting another chance in the NFL.
Odell Beckham Jr., who was buried on the Giants’ depth chart and played just 20 snaps during three regular-season games before being released last week, is signing with the Vikings’ practice squad, the team confirmed.
Beckham Jr. was expected to be a key contributor for the Giants after Calvin Austin III went out with an injury, but that did not materialize.

With the Vikings dealing with their own wide receiver injuries — as Justin Jefferson battles a high ankle sprain — Beckham Jr. could get more playing time catching passes from Kyler Murray.
The Vikings quickly locked in the former star receiver after Beckham Jr. chose not to go to the Giants’ practice squad.
After his departure from the big city, Beckham Jr. appeared outraged in a social media rant of how the Giants handled him.
“I’m super smart, but I didn’t see this one my brotha,” Beckham wrote to an Instagram user with the account name Bcas. “They got me!!!”
“I came in HUMBLY, took [the] vet min then EARNED my spot n didn’t say nothing bout no $$$,” Beckham Jr. added. “It didn’t hurt me but it did when they cut me like that, cause part of me is like I shoulda known better.”

The Vikings, who do not play the Giants during the regular season, are off to a surprising 4-0 start. Though, that is mainly due to a dominant defense as the offense has largely struggled with Murray and Carson Wentz under center.
Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings are Minnesota’s top receivers while Jefferson is out. Tai Felton and Myles Price, youngsters with six career catches between them, are currently the backups.
