Miami Dolphins running back Kaytron Allen made his team debut in Week 7 against the New York Jets, but his work was limited to special teams. The former Washington Commanders reserve was able to play six snaps on special teams.

Why it Matters: Allen was claimed off waivers just in time, as Jaylen Wright left Sunday’s game due to a quadriceps injury. It’s possible, if Wright is forced to miss more game time, that Allen could ascend to the primary backup role to Ollie Gordon II, which would be a meaningful role. From a fantasy perspective, however, he has a long way to go before he is on the radar of anyone outside of the deepest of leagues.
