Michael Dickson, 2018-current: During his rookie year, Dickson earned Associated Press first-team All-Pro honors and a Pro Bowl selection, after taking over for Seahawks punter Jon Ryan. Through the 2024 season, Dickson’s 48.2 career punt average ranks third in NFL history, and in addition to being the Seahawks career leader in that statistical category, he also ranks first in net average (42.9) and second behind Ryan in punts down inside the 20 with 212.

Jon Ryan, 2008-2017: Ryan spent 10 seasons in Seattle setting multiple franchise records, two of which still stand — number of punts (770) and number of punts downed inside the 20 (276). He was also an integral part of one of the most iconic plays in Seahawks history. During the 2014 NFC Championship game vs. the Green Bay Packers, he threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Garry Gilliam on a fake field goal attempt that gave Seattle its first score of the game and ignited a comeback win in overtime. He was also a member of the Seahawks Super Bowl-winning team following its 2013 13-3 season.
