Jail records they obtained showed the former Dallas Cowboys pass rusher was taken into custody at around 2:29 PM. He was booked on a charge of “assault causes bodily injury family family member,” the records showed. On Thursday morning, Hardy will see a judge, informed a jail official to TMZ Sports. A bond will be set at the court proceeding. Until then, he will remain behind bars.

TMZ also reported that Greg Hardy has a history of arrest due to an assault charge. In 2014, he was arrested for allegedly roughing up his then-girlfriend.The Daily Mail reported that in July 2014, Hardy was convicted of assaulting and threatening a woman who contented the 6-foot-4, 275-pounder threw her in a bathtub and onto a sofa covered with guns before threatening to kill her.
