Aaron Rodgers agrees to sign with Pittsburgh Steelers

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, a four-time MVP and a Super Bowl winner, has agreed to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team confirmed late Thursday night.The deal is for a one-year contract, pending a physical. Rodgers plans to fly to Pittsburgh this week and participate in the team’s mandatory minicamp next week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday.The addition of the 41-year-old Rodgers is the latest in a series of offseason moves that are bringing big changes to Pittsburgh’s quarterback room for a second straight year.It also sets up a potential Week 1 matchup of Rodgers and Justin Fields, the former Steelers quarterback who is now with the New York Jets.
