Here is a rundown of every Indianapolis Colts’ offseason move in 2025.
Perhaps the Indianapolis Colts still have a roster addition in them over the next couple of months before the regular season begins, but with the free agency and the NFL draft behind us, the team’s 91-man roster is largely set. So let’s take a look back at the offseason with every move made by GM Chris Ballard.
During the 2024 offseason, Ballard prioritized re-signing his own players. The only outside additions made in free agency that year by the Colts were Joe Flacco and Raekwon Davis–a backup quarterback and a rotational interior defender, neither of whom is on the team anymore.
After the season, Ballard would call his roster-building approach from a year ago a “mistake.” So this year, in an effort to remedy that, we’ve seen a lot more roster turnover taking place.
The Colts entered the offseason with 21 unrestricted free agents, but only re-signed five of those players. Ballard also made two big splashes in free agency, signing Cam Bynum and Charvarius Ward, along with bringing in Daniel Jones to compete with Anthony Richardson.
Through the draft process, Indianapolis also made nine selections and signed 15 undrafted rookies.
