Former New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he’s a married man.
The 41-year-old play caller told reporters in Pittsburgh, where he just signed a $19.5 million deal to play with the Steelers in the upcoming NFL season, that he tied the knot “a couple of months” ago.
Rodgers had recently been spotted sporting a wedding ring. He didn’t offer details on his nuptials. Shortly before Christmas, he told “The Pat McAfee Show” viewers that there was a special woman in his life he identified simply as “Brittani with an ‘I’.”
“It’s a good feeling, boys,” Rodgers told his hosts about the relationship.
It’s not clear if the woman Rodgers was dating in December is his new wife.
Rodgers started his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers in 2005. He left the team in 2023 to play with the Jets, but was injured in the first game of the season and didn’t return to the playing field until the following year. After great speculation over where he’d play next, the Super Bowl XLV winning quarterback opted to pursue another ring — or two — in Pittsburgh. No team has won more Super Bowls than the Steelers, who have six championships to date.
Though he doesn’t often talk about his personal life, Rodgers has dated television host Olivia Munn, actor Shailene Woodley and race car driver Danica Patrick, according to.People.
