During his press conference on Thursday, Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia shared the moment he received praise from Denver Broncos defensive lineman Zach Allen.

“I did good went against one of the best D-Tackles, and i got some good words from him after the game, so definitely stuff to take in and improve on.” said Suamataia, who revealed Allen’s words of advice after the game, “For playing guard for the first time, he said I did pretty good, and I’ve known him growing up.”

Veteran defensive tackle Allen was one of the better defensive linemen in football last season. He recorded 8.5 sacks, 15 tackles for losses, and a safety on his way to being named a Second-team All-Pro.

Suamataia was impressive during training camp last year, leading to him beginning his rookie season as the starting left tackle. He was benched during Week 2 but had the opportunity to start in Week 18 against the Broncos at offensive guard, potentially earning a shot to be the full-time starter at that spot this season.
