The NFL is an offense-driven league, and quarterbacks are the entertainment’s conductors, making it the most watched sport in the country.
NFL Media took the liberty this week of ranking what they saw as the ten best offenses in the NFL heading into the 2025 season. While training camp hasn’t even happened yet, and a lot could happen, they felt like they had enough information to make an informed decision on which teams to include.

For the Bucs, that meant they had to read deep into the rankings to find themselves at the number two spot. They trail only the Buffalo Bills. They lay out the Bucs offense beautifully, writing, “It starts up front with one of the premier offensive lines in the game. First-team All-Pro left tackle Tristan Wirfs is the headliner, but this could be the best starting five this side of Philadelphia. The receiver room is loaded with talent, young and old. With veteran wideout Chris Godwin working his way back from a season-ending ankle injury, Jason Licht just spent his first-round pick on Emeka Egbuka, who happens to offer a Godwin-like skill set. Bucky Irving was a revelation last year as the top rookie running back. . .”
The Bucs offense really has become a spoilment of riches in recent years, but the addition of Emeka Egbuka may have put things firmly over the top.
For first time offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard, taking over the NFL’s second-ranked offense isn’t a bad first time group to be leading. Afterall, the last two offensive coordinators left because they earned head coaching opportunites, will he be the third?
