Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward is entering the league looking to establish a new era of football in Nashville.

The No. 1 overall pick from the 2025 NFL draft isn’t lacking any confidence with the offseason workout program coming to a close Thursday, June 12. Though spring practices should always be taken with a grain of salt, the Miami product did everything necessary to impress the team that spent the top overall pick on him at the end of April.

With a long break until training camp arrives at the end of July, Ward was asked by the Nashville media what his plans are during the downtime in the NFL schedule.

His response, though not safe for work (NSFW), was exactly what Titans fans want to hear.

“Just work out, study the playbook, and throw the (expletive) out of the ball,” Ward said.

Ward didn’t say whether he and the Titans pass-catchers have plans to work out together during the stretch that they’re away from the team, but it’s common for players to do so during the month of July before reporting back to for training camp.

The Titans have a long way to go before they can be considered playoff contenders, but Ward should have the fanbase feeling confident about the direction of the franchise going into his first training camp.
