Packers quarterback Jordan Love talks at AmFam Championship in Madison
The Packers quarterback is a brand ambassador for American Family Insurance.
The countdown is on for Jordan Love’s third season as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. But before then, the countdown is on for something even more important for Love.
His wedding.
Love is getting married to longtime girlfriend and professional volleyball player Ronika Stone later this month.
According to Channel 3000, the date is set for June 29.
“Three more weeks,” Love said in an exclusive interview with reporter Jason Wilde during the first round of the American Family Insurance Championship at TPC Wisconsin on June 6. Love is a spokesperson for the company and made a surprise appearance at the golf tournament.
The wedding will come just over a year after Love’s epic proposal to Stone while on vacation in Italy. He popped the question in Tuscany in the province of Siena at Castello di Celsa, a castle built in the 13th century. Love said last year that proposing was “intense” and more nerve-wracking than playing in the NFL.
Here’s what Love has said about the wedding:
Jordan Love wedding
Love, who has led the Packers to the playoffs in each of his first two years as the starter, is tying the knot to Stone, whom he met through mutual friends while in college.
The wedding will take place in California.
The exact location isn’t known but details are more public than Love’s predecessor’s wedding. While details of Aaron Rodgers’ wedding and his bride have been kept a secret and apparently without the knowledge of his friends, Love is a bit more open about his big day.
Love, 26, talked about his wedding on the “Up & Adams” show during Super Bowl weekend.
The Packers quarterback told host Kay Adams that wedding planning was “going great” and revealed that guests will be treated to an In-N-Out Burger food truck. Love also noted that food tasting had already been completed and they just had to select the cake back in February.
Stone, who recently turned 27, had her bachelorette party last weekend in San Juan Puerto Rico. She featured the festivities on her Instagram account.
Who is invited to Jordan Love’s wedding?
The wedding guest list isn’t public but it’s a safe bet that many of Love’s Packers teammates current and past will be in attendance.
Former Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari has a reservation for the dance floor.
Bakhtiari, who played with Love for four years, from 2020 to 2024, wrote in response to Stone’s bridal shower photos on Instagram last month: “Can’t wait for the wedding day. Bout the set that dance floor on 🔥🔥🔥”
Who is Jordan Love’s future wife?
Love is marrying Ronika Stone. And he’s ready for her to be his wife.
“Wifey,” Love commented on a picture of Stone on her Instagram account May 13.
Stone was an All-American volleyball player at the University of Oregon from 2016 to 2019 and is now playing professionally. She’s a star player for the San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation.
She comes from an athletic family with roots in the NFL. Her dad, Ron Stone, played 13 seasons in the NFL during the 1990s and early 2000s. Her brother, Ron Stone Jr., played football at Washington State.
Her sister, Ronna, often joins her at Packers games.
Stone often shows her public support on social media for Love.
And Love repays the favor to Stone with public admirations during her volleyball season.
The wedding date comes after Stone’s volleyball season this spring and before Love returns to Green Bay for training camp in late July.
