When NFL teams change general managers, it is usually followed by major changes within the scouting department and football staff as the new front office shapes the unit to what they are looking for. The Tennessee Titans were no different and announced massive changes on Friday.
As is the case across the league, general manager Mike Borgonzi waited until after the NFL draft to make these changes. In all, the Titans went outside the organization for 10 hires and promoted another eight from within the organization.
While some of the additions and promotions were focused on operations and scouting, the Titans did go outside of the organization for some of the more high-profile positions. They hired Dan Saganey away from the Cleveland Browns to become Vice President, Player Personnel, Evert Geerlings, formerly of the Houston Texans, as Vice President, Football Communications, Benny Allen of the Memphis Grizzlies to be the new Director, Team Security, and Chip Pugh from Tennessee Tech as the Director, Team Development.

With the NFL being a year-round event, having the organizational structure in place should make things run a little smoother for Borgonzi and the new front office.
