Nearly a week after the 2025 NFL Draft began, the Giants are still being praised for their aggressiveness and selections during the three-day event. The team picked up another endorsement, this time from a former Super Bowl-winning head coach.

Jon Gruden, currently an analyst for Barstool Sports, said the Giants had an exceptional draft that should be praised.

“The MVP experience of last week’s draft is I think the New York Football Giants,” Gruden said. “I love what they did. I love Abdul Carter. I love Darius Alexander, who they got in the third round. You put these defensive linemen with Dexter Lawrence, (Kayvon) Thibodeaux and Brian Burns, they’re going to get after the quarterback, man.”

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders coach also liked what the Giants did on offense, especially after they traded back into the first round to take quarterback Jaxson Dart.

“I love Jaxson Dart,” Gruden said. “We had him here at Gruden’s QB class. He’s going to be the future QB of the Giants. I’m excited to watch this man. I like getting this guy (Marcus) Mbow, the offensive tackle from Purdue. He’s real athletic. I think he can be a good swing tackle. I like this guy. And you know what, I love Cam Skattaboo from Arizona State. He’s the perfect New York Giant because he is a fun back to have. I’m really fired up with the New York Football Giants.”
