It did not take Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders long to get involved with his new community.

Multiple reports on Twitter/X have shown the newly acquired quarterback exploring Cleveland during his first few days as a Brown. After visiting public gyms downtown and finding local hills to work out, he decided to visit and speak to the students of John Marshall High School.

It shouldn’t be a surprise to see Shedeur already involved in the Cleveland community. During his time at the University of Colorado, Shedeur also visited Fairview High School in Boulder, CO, where he answered questions, offered advice, and provided motivation to many young players trying to achieve their goals. Given that Shedeur experienced one of the biggest slides in NFL Draft history, the John Marshall students likely heard an inspiring speech about his motivation to push forward and prove the doubters wrong.

The young quarterback’s actions show promise to many in Cleveland, especially with critics questioning his abilities after he was unexpectedly selected in the fifth round. Seeing leadership qualities like these in a young player is a refreshing change for Browns fans coming off a disappointing quarterback situation. It’s good to see a Cleveland athlete using his fame to highlight his influential and leadership qualities, which already make him a notable figure.
