Travis Kelce turned heads with a recent comment about potentially adding to his family.
During the Amazon Port Panel in Cannes, France, Kelce, 35, and his brother, Jason Kelce, 37, touched on the subject of dogs, which stirred up plenty of reactions, as his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is a proud cat lady.
“The ads I love the most are the ones I actually use, the stuff that I use every single day,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said at the event. “It’s hard to sell dog food when you don’t have a dog.”
When a member of the panel suggested to the younger Kelce brother, “Maybe it’s time to get a dog,” he hinted that it could be a possibility.
“There you go, yeah, I need to get a dog,” Kelce responded.
In a video, a fan pointed out that Travis is “joking about getting a dog… but he’s a cat dad now,” while another wrote, “Meredith, Olivia, Benjamin: 🙀🙀🙀. Taylor: guys relax dads just kidding 😂😂😂.”
“I feel like there’s 4 residents at his home who don’t want a dog around 😅” another added, while plenty more pondered on whether the sports star already had dogs.
Of course, Swifties know that the pop superstar, 35, is already a cat mom to three adorable felines. There’s Meredith Grey (named after Ellen Pompeo‘s Grey’s Anatomy character), Olivia Benson (named after Mariska Hargitay‘s Law & Order: SVU character) and Benjamin Button (named after the book by F.Scott Fitzgerald).
The fur baby talk came on the heels of speculation that Kelce and Swift might already be engaged and had potentially secretly married.
Neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed an engagement or marriage, but it seems they are definitely thinking about their future in terms of pets.
