SEATTLE — The Seahawks have agreed to sign star punter Michael Dickson to a four-year contract extension worth $16.2 million, according to NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo.
Dickson was selected first-team All-Pro in his 2018 rookie season. He was also a Pro Bowler that year.
Since he began his career in Seattle, Dickson has been one of the most consistent and game-changing punters in the NFL.
In his seven seasons, Dickson has averaged 3,469 yards per season and 48.2 yards per punt. He has also averaged 30 punts inside the 20-yard line, good for 42.1% of his punts.
This is the second four-year contract that Dickson has signed with the Seahawks. He signed a $14.5 million deal in 2021, with the upcoming season as the final year.
Dickson is originally from Sydney, Australia.
