The Los Angeles Rams’ summer schedule is beginning to take shape. The NFL announced Rams rookies and veterans will both report to camp on July 22, and we now know the dates of two joint practices Los Angeles will hold in August.
The Rams will practice with the Cowboys at their camp headquarters in Oxnard on Aug. 5, which comes just before their preseason matchup on Aug. 9. The Rams will also practice with the Chargers on Aug. 13, three days before they play in the preseason.

No other joint practices have been scheduled yet, but there’s still time for the Rams to potentially add a day with either of these teams or potentially practice with another; they also play the Browns in Week 3 of the preseason.
The Rams put a lot of value in joint practices because they hold their starters out of preseason action in order to avoid potential injuries. These two practices with the Cowboys and Chargers will give Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua and other top players a chance to face opposing starters, which wouldn’t be the case in the preseason.
