Philadelphia Eagles players attend fundraiser at the Chesapeake Inn
Philadelphia Eagles players Cooper DeJean, AJ Dillon and Thomas Booker attended a fundraiser benefiting the Eagles Autism Foundation at the Chesapeake Inn on May 23, 2025.
Gabrielle Dillon penned a heartfelt anniversary tribute to husband AJ on Instagram — complete with a carrousel of photos from their wedding weekend, which was held in their “favorite place,” Door County.
The former Green Bay Packers running back and his wife, who met over five years ago, are celebrating their third anniversary as a married couple. The two have a 2-year-old son together, Algiers “Trey” Dillon III.
“Every year brings on new adventures, new challenges and a whole lot more love!” Gabrielle captioned the June 25 post, in part. “Marriage is the most important decision in your life, and I’m so lucky I get to do it with you. My best friend. It feels like there’s nothing we can’t take on & accomplish in this world. I can’t to see what we do this year! 🤍”
AJ’s response: “I love you soo much ❤️💍 !”
AJ — a second-round draft pick by the Packers in 2020 — spent five years with Green Bay. While Dillon missed all of 2024 with a neck injury, he has been medically cleared to return to football. In March 2025, AJ signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to a previous Journal Sentinel report, shortly after AJ’s arrival to Green Bay in 2020, he noticed Gabrielle at Synergy Sports Performance in Hobart. He was working out there since the Packers team facility was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gabrielle was home in Green Bay from the University of Wisconsin.
AJ slid into Gabrielle’s Instagram DMs, then “one thing led to another.”
Being amid the pandemic, the two got creative with dates. Gabrielle suggested Dillon come up to Egg Harbor, where her family has a house with a dock overlooking the bay. It reminded him of home; he’s from the east coast.
AJ came to love and promote the area so much, he became known as the unofficial Mayor of Door County and even received a key to the county.
DoCo would end up being where AJ and Gabrielle would get engaged and later married.
In her anniversary post, Gabrielle — a lifestyle blogger and content creator — shared 20 photos from “the amazing weekend” in their “favorite place,” from a stunning shot of the couple in their wedding attire to reception shenanigans.
“So much heart went into putting this together, & I’ll forever cherish all the memories made celebrating with our closest friends & family 🤍🥂,” Gabrielle continued in the caption. “we’re so blessed.”
The pair’s beloved Door County showed them some love back, commenting: “Happy Anniversary ❤️ Can’t wait to have you all back in DC this summer!”
When Gabrielle did an “ask me anything” on Instagram earlier this month, she was asked if she was going to keep coming to The Door even though AJ switched teams.
“Definitely, we will always spend time in DoCo,” Gabrielle wrote in her response.
The Dillons’ dream is to someday have their own place there, where they’d spend every summer, Gabrielle said.
Gabrielle returned to Door County around Memorial Day. She planned to be back again in July, she said at the time.
