The summer Tennessee Titans slow down is underway.

The Titans are off until late July.

So, while we wait for fall camp to begin on July 22, we’ve ranked the 10 best offensive players in Tennessee Titans history since the organization moved to Nashville in 1997. Everyone selected for this list played a minimum of one season in Nashville as a Tennessee Titan to be eligible.

How long they spent within the organization was also considered.

1. Steve McNair

McNair starred at quarterback for the Oilers/Titans from 1995-2005. He is second in franchise history with 27,141 passing yards and had 156 touchdowns. McNair was a three-time Pro Bowler and All Pro second-team member in 2003. The quarterback was also awarded the 2003 NFL MVP.

2. Derrick Henry

Henry was a running back standout for the Titans from 2016-2023. He was named the 2020 NFL Offensive Player of the Year. Henry was selected to the Pro Bowl four times, held two rushing titles (2019 and 2020) and became the eighth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season with 2,027. Henry holds the franchise record for most rushing touchdowns with 90.

3. Eddie George

George was a running back for the Titans from 1996-2003. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and 1996 Offensive Rookie of the Year. George leads the franchise in rushing yards with 10,009 yards over the course of his career. The running back recorded 64 touchdowns in his tenure.

Johnson was a running back for the Titans from 2008-2013. In 2009, Johnson was named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year and First-Team All Pro. That season, he led the league in rushing with 2,006 yards, becoming the sixth player in league history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season. The running back was a three-time Pro Bowler.

5. Michael Roos

Roos was an offensive tackle from 2005-2014. He started all 148 games he played in with the Titans. Roos was named First-team All-Pro in 2008 and Second-team All-Pro in 2009. The offensive tackle was also named to the Pro Bowl in 2008. He was part of the line that allowed a league low of 12 total sacks for the 2008 season.

6. Derrick Mason

Mason played wide receiver for the franchise from 1997-2004. He recorded 6,114 receiving yards, which is sixth most in Titans history. The wide receiver also hauled in 37 touchdowns. He was named to the All-Pro first team in 2000 and is a two-time Pro Bowler. Mason is also second in franchise punt returning yards (1,590) and kickoff return yards (3,496).

7. Frank Wycheck

Wycheck played tight end for the franchise from 1995-2003. He finished third in franchise history in career receptions with 482 and seventh in receiving yards with 4,958. The tight end had 27 touchdowns during his tenure. Wycheck was named to the All-Pro second-team in 2000, was a three-time Pro Bowler and inducted in to the Titans Ring of Honor.

8. Brad Hopkins

Hopkins played offensive tackle from 1993-2005. He earned a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 1993. The offensive tackle was named an All-Pro in 2000 and was a two-time Pro Bowler. He started in 188 of the 194 games that he played in.

9. Taylor Lewan

Lewan served as an offensive tackle from 2014-2022. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team, was a three-time Pro Bowler. Lewan played 105 games and started in 100 of them.

10. Delanie Walker

Walker played tight end for the organization from 2013-2018. During his time with the Titans, he was selected to three Pro Bowls. Walker caught 381 passes, the eighth most in franchise history, for 4,423 yards, which is ninth most in Titans history. The tight end recorded 29 touchdowns in Nashville.

3 Titans who just missed listA.J. Brown

Brown was briefly with the franchise, playing with the team from 2019-2021. The wide receiver made his mark in Nashville. He hauled in 185 receptions for 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns. He was selected to one Pro Bowl during his stint with Tennessee.

Bruce Matthews

Matthews would be much higher on the list if he hadn’t spend the majority of his career as a Houston Oiler. The offensive lineman was a 14-time Pro Bowler and seven-time First-team All-Pro. He was inducted into the Houston Oliers/Tennessee Titans Ring of Honor and No. 74 has been retired.

Kevin Mawae

Like Brown, Mawae was with the Titans for just a short period of time, but made an impact. During his time in Nashville, the center was selected to two Pro Bowls and an All-Pro first team member in 2008.
