(WJAR) — The New England Patriots will continue to use T.F. Green Airport as the home for its charter flights, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation said.

According to the agreement shared with NBC 10, the airport will waive fees and charges– which include parking and landing fees– for the two aircrafts in exchange for multiple rights and advertising spaces.

“We are pleased the New England Patriots will continue to utilize Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport as their base of operations for team charter flights,” said Iftikhar Ahmad, president and CEO of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation. “This agreement benefits both parties and allows us to advertise within our catchment area in a meaningful and cost-effective way that has helped us increase passenger volume. It is important to note that we have been the fastest growing airport and that distinction requires top of mind presence, which this agreement provides.”

Through the agreement, T.F. Green Airport will be designated as the “Official Airport of the New England Patriots” and will have television and digital advertising spots, RIAC officials said.

According to the RIFC, the Patriots will also provide annual reports summarizing the marketing activities and the associated value for each season.

The airport and the Patriots first went into an agreement in 2017.
