CINCINNATI — July brings fireworks, hot dogs and summer nights to mind, but for football fans, it also brings open training camps for their favorite Ohio teams. 

Both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns have open training camps in July and August the public can attend to see their players in action ahead of the NFL season.

Cincinnati

The Bengals are hosting eight training camps that are open to the public. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. Practices begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at noon. 

Dates for these camps at Kettering Health Practice Fields, located just west of Paycor Stadium, are:

Wednesday, July 23
Thursday, July 24
Friday, July 25
Monday, July 28
Wednesday, July 30
Thursday, July 31
Sunday, Aug. 3

The team is also hosting a Saturday Night Stadium Practice on Aug. 2. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Practice begins at 6 p.m. and concludes at 8 p.m. Tickets are required and free to claim. STREAK Club members can claim tickets starting July 22; they open fully to the public on July 23.

There are three practices that are also for STREAK Club members or require a ticket to attend:

Sunday, July 27: Gates open at 9 a.m.
Saturday, Aug. 9: Gates open at 1:15 p.m. This practice is for Season Ticket and Waitlist members only  
Sunday, Aug. 10: Gates open at 9 a.m. This practice is only for STREAK Club members

Cleveland

To the north, the Cleveland Browns are also hosting eight training camps that will be open to the public. Gates will open one hour before practices begin at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus.

Practice days and times include:

Friday, July 25 at 2 p.m.
Saturday, July 26 at 9:30 a.m.
Monday, July 28 at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, July 29 at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, July 30 at 9:30 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 2 at 9:30 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m.

“Our fans bring an element to the team that is unmatched, and we look forward to welcoming them at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus for eight practice sessions this training camp,” said Haslam Sports Group Chief Marketing Officer Brent Rossi in a news release. “As we enter the 40th anniversary of the Dawg Pound, providing our fans with the best in-class is paramount to show our appreciation in why they are the best in the NFL.”

Tickets to the practices will be available on Wednesday, July 2 for Browns Season Ticket Members and on Thursday, July 3 at 10 a.m. for the public. Each account is limited to four tickets per session and cannot claim for multiple sessions.
