There’s a new No. 3 in the Emerald City.

Rookie safety and second-round draft pick Nick Emmanwori will be the first Seattle Seahawks player to wear the No. 3 jersey since longtime quarterback Russell Wilson, who donned the number for his entire decade-long career in Seattle before he was traded to the Denver Broncos in March 2022.

Daniel Jeremiah: Why the Seahawks got 2 late-round steals

The Seahawks announced jersey numbers for Emmanwori and the rest of the team’s 2025 draft class on Wednesday evening. Below is the full list of numbers:

• OL Grey Zabel – No. 76
• S Nick Emmanwori – No. 3
• TE Elijah Arroyo – No. 18
• QB Jalen Milroe – No. 6
• DL Rylie Mills – No. 98
• WR Tory Horton – No. 15
• FB Robbie Ouzts – No. 40
• OL Bryce Cabeldue – No. 77
• RB Damien Martinez – No. 22
• OL Mason Richman – No. 78
• WR Ricky White III – No. 86

And here are a few more interesting tidbits:

• Emmanwori, an ultra-versatile defensive talent out of South Carolina, is slated to be the first defensive player in franchise history to wear No. 3. Prior to 2020, the No. 3 was reserved for quarterbacks, kickers and punters.

• Zabel, the Seahawks’ first-round pick out of North Dakota State, is in good company with the No. 76. Previous Seahawks offensive linemen to don the number include Hall of Fame left guard Steve Hutchinson, two-time Pro Bowl left tackle Russell Okung and five-time Pro Bowl left tackle Duane Brown.

• Milroe, the Seahawks’ intriguing third-round pick out of Alabama, would be just the seventh player in franchise history to wear No. 6. The others include safety Quandre Diggs and backup quarterbacks Charlie Whitehurst, Austin Davis and Sam Howell.
