What’s the special ingredient that fuels an athlete’s success? For some, they desire to be the absolute greatest in their industry. For others, it’s a will to overcome any obstacle thrown their way.
For 25-year-old Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis, it’s mayonnaise. Levis’ love for the creamy condiment is well-documented. He has even publicly stated that he adds a spoonful of mayo to his morning cup of coffee. And no, that’s not a typo.
While the announcement that Levis had partnered with Hellmann’s Mayonnaise shouldn’t be a surprise, the product they’re teaming up to produce may come as a shock to some. Levis and Hellmann’s concocted the latest and likely the most unique fragrance on the market. Dubbed “Will Levis No. 8, Parfum de Mayonnaise” affectionately named after his Titans jersey number, the new fragrance leans on his love of mayonnaise, which dates back to his college days at Kentucky.

Athlete-endorsed scents are far from uncommon. Michael Jordan, David Beckham and Derek Jeter are just a few household names who have dabbled in the fragrance field. But none have dared to veer into the realm of a food-scented fragrance.
Will Levis No. 8 boasts six fragrance notes: tart lemon, mayonnaise accord, parsley, coffee undertones, musk and creamy vanilla. The quarterback’s collaboration with Hellmann’s, a 30ml bottle going for $8, sold out swiftly. But don’t worry if you missed out.
The site states, “The scent of greatness will be restocked tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET.”
The charismatic quarterback is entering his second season in Tennessee, coming off a rookie season in which he started each of the nine games he played. Levis threw for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions on a 58.4 percent completion rate.
The Titans open their season on the road against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 8.
