The Miami Dolphins are diving into the 2025 NFL season with energy, excitement and a packed training camp schedule that promises plenty for fans to enjoy.
The team officially announced its full training camp slate, which includes 10 practices open to the public, one exclusive Member Day practice, and a joint session with the Jacksonville Jaguars that’s sure to draw national attention.
Training camp will once again be held at the Baptist Health Training Complex, the team’s cutting-edge facility located in the heart of Miami Gardens. This marks the fifth consecutive year the Dolphins have hosted camp at the complex, which offers fans stadium-style seating, shaded viewing areas, interactive fan zones, and autograph sessions with players following each practice.
Camp kicks off July 26
This year’s camp is more than just football—it’s a celebration of the community. Each open practice will feature a fan-first atmosphere, complete with festivals, family fun and the team’s annual garage sale, with proceeds benefiting the Miami Dolphins Foundation.
The first public practice is scheduled for Saturday, July 26 at 9 a.m., kicking off the league-wide NFL Back Together Weekend. This league initiative is all about bringing fans back into the fold for a new year of football, and the Dolphins are embracing the moment with festivities, food trucks from local favorites, merchandise giveaways and more.
Practices are free to attend, and parking is complimentary. However, fans must reserve tickets in advance by visiting www.miamidolphins.com/trainingcamp and completing the online form. While practices are set to begin at 9 a.m., fans are encouraged to check the website and follow @MiamiDolphins on X for schedule updates or weather-related changes.
Season ticket members will also get an exclusive experience on Saturday, Aug. 2, with a private practice dubbed Member Day, a show of appreciation for the franchise’s most loyal fans.

This marks a homecoming for Travis Hunter, the Jaguars’ electric rookie and former Jackson State standout. Hunter last played at Hard Rock Stadium during the 2022 Orange Blossom Classic, when he captivated fans as a member of the Jackson State University Tigers.
Now a top-tier NFL rookie, Hunter’s return adds even more intrigue to what promises to be a charged practice with plenty of jawing, competition and potential highlight plays.
A posthumous hall of famer
This year’s training camp also serves as a moment of reflection, as the Dolphins community celebrates the legacy of the late Jason Jenkins, former senior vice president of Communications and Community Affairs. Jenkins was recently named one of 15 recipients of the 2025 Awards of Excellence from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The award honors behind-the-scenes professionals in five categories, and Jenkins is recognized for his outstanding work in public relations. Jenkins’ influence on the Dolphins and the greater South Florida community continues to resonate long after his passing. His award was selected by his peers, making the honor all the more meaningful.
Blockbuster trade brings Fitzpatrick back
In a move that stunned fans and media alike, the Dolphins made headlines just before training camp with a blockbuster trade involving the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Dolphins sent All-Pro safety Jalen Ramsey, Pro Bowl tight end Jonnu Smith, and a 2027 seventh-round pick to Pittsburgh in exchange for five-time Pro Bowl safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and a 2027 fifth-rounder.
The trade marks a homecoming for Fitzpatrick, who was initially drafted by Miami in 2018 in the first round before being traded to the Steelers a year later. Since then, Fitzpatrick has developed into one of the NFL’s top defensive backs and brings elite ball-hawking ability back to the Dolphins’ secondary.
With marquee matchups, player homecomings and fan-first experiences, the 2025 Dolphins Training Camp is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated in recent memory. From free admission and parking to exclusive member access, celebrity sightings and a renewed focus on community, the Dolphins are setting the tone early as they chase the Lombardi Trophy in the new NFL season.
Fans are encouraged to secure their free tickets today, pack their aqua and orange, and get ready for a summer of football in Miami Gardens.
