Age: 27
Year: 3rd
Position: Guard
College: Kentucky
Previous Teams: Baltimore Ravens (2023)
Jersey Number: 66
Manning enters his third season in the NFL and second in Cincinnati after going undrafted during the 2023 NFL Draft. He finished his five-year college career with one season at Kentucky where he started the 2022 season at right guard. He spent the previous four years at Auburn, playing mostly left guard during the 2020 and 2021 seasons and coming off the bench sparingly from 2018-19.Â
The Ravens signed him as a UDFA in 2023 and kept him on their practice squad throughout the entire season. He signed a futures contract with Baltimore the following offseason, and was waived leading up to the 2024 regular season. The Bengals signed him to their practice squad for the season and retained him on a futures deal this offseason.
Contract Details
Manning signed a one-year, $840,000 deal with Cincinnati this offseason. His potential cash earnings and salary cap hit for the year is $840,000.

Roster Outlook
Cincinnati’s pro scouting department sought Manning during final cuts last year as he was waived by the Bengals’ most competitive AFC North rival. He never got a chance to play in the regular season, but he’ll at least get work in the preseason next month. He’s played both guard spots before, so Scott Peters has options on where to deploy him with deep in the three exhibitions.
Manning would need to simply amaze during the preseason to have a shot at the 53-man roster, or an onslaught of injuries at the guard position would have to occur. It’s far from a position of strength for Cincinnati, but Manning is still no better than sixth in a group of about seven.Â
Roster odds: 5%
Projected role: Reserve guard
