The 2025 NFL Draft did not disappoint.
As for what’s next on the NFL agenda, here’s a look at the important offseason dates and how they impact Arizona:
Important NFL offseason dates for the Arizona Cardinals
May 9-11
Arizona begins its rookie minicamp.
The Cardinals came away with seven draft picks across the three-day event:
– Round 1: DT Walter Nolen III (Ole Miss)
– Round 2: CB Will Johnson (Michigan)
– Round 3: Edge Jordan Burch (Oregon)
– Round 4: LB Cody Simon (Ohio State)
– Round 5: CB Denzel Burke (Ohio State)
– Round 6: OG Hayden Conner (Texas)
– Round 7: S Kitan Crawford (Nevada)
Arizona also added six undrafted free agents to the mix.
May 12
Rookie football development programs kick off.
May 20-21
The spring league meeting and coach accelerator in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
May 28-30
Arizona begins its voluntary organized team activities.
June 1
Releasing a player before or after June 1 can have some serious implications on a team’s cap space.
If a player is released before the date, the team must take on the full brunt of the dead cap that season.
If a team cuts after the date or has a post-June 1 designation, then the dead cap is spaced out over two seasons.
June 3-5
Arizona’s second round of voluntary OTAs.
June 10-12
Arizona begins its mandatory minicamp for veterans and rookies.
