The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received quite the draft haul last week in Green Bay, and continue to tweak the roster ahead of training camp.

But the roster isn’t the only thing changing.

After the completion of the NFL Draft, the Buccaneers have announced two changes to the front office.

Per reports, Tampa Bay is promoting Rob McCartney to assistant general manager, working directly under Jason Licht, and Mike Biehl will be promoted to vice president of player personnel.

McCartney is in his 15th season with Tampa Bay, and he oversees the pro scouting department. He is also one of Licht’s top advisors during the draft and free agency. Before his promotion, he served as the team’s director of player personnel.

Biehl is entering his 12th year with the Bucs and has been responsible for coordinating and compiling evaluations of all draft-eligible players and overseeing the scouting staff. Before his promotion, he was the director of player personnel.

The Bucs just completed the 2025 NFL Draft and have been one of the more consistently good drafting teams over the past five seasons.

That’s due in part to the efforts of McCartney and Biehl, who work tirelessly during the offseason to assist Licht before, during and after the draft.
