By Relative Athletic Score (RAS), the Jacksonville Jaguars boasted one of the more athletic draft classes among the 32 NFL teams.

But first, before we dive into where the Jaguars ranked, what is RAS?

In short, RAS takes into account a prospect’s measurements and athletic testing numbers and turns all of that into an easily digestible figure that falls on a 0-10 scale and is relative to their position group. The higher the RAS, the better the athlete.

Pro Football Network recently ranked each team’s draft classes based on their overall RAS, and the Jaguars came in at No. 10. As PFN noted, four of the Jaguars nine picks didn’t qualify for a RAS because of note enough testing numbers–including Travis Hunter–so Jacksonville could have been potentially ranked higher.

Jacksonville Jaguars‘ 2025 draft class Relative Athletic Scores

Travis Hunter: N/A (not enough testing)

Jalen McLeod: N/A (not enough testing)

Jonah Monheim: N/A (not enough testing)

LeQuint Allen: N/A (not enough testing)

A player’s athletic testing and size aren’t going to be the be-all-end-all when it comes to determining their success in the NFL, but generally speaking, those abilities can increase the likelihood of a player establishing themselves and making an impact.

Coming into this year’s draft with James Gladstone at the helm, we probably could have guessed that the Jaguars’ selections were going to rank well in RAS, given that over the previous four draft classes, the LA Rams–where Gladstone was previously–have had the sixth-most draft picks with a RAS of 8.0 or higher.
