This focuses on receiver Andre Baccellia.

Andre Baccellia background, 2024 season

Baccellia entered the league in 2020 as a rookie free agent out of Washington, signing originally with the Kansas CIty Chiefs. He did not make any roster or practice squad in 2020 and signed with the Cardinals in April 2021. He spent all of 2021 on Arizona;s practice squad and has been on and off the practice squad and roster for the last four seasons.

He has played in 13 games, all in 2022 and 2023, and has seven career receptions for 45 yards, all in 2022. He returned one kick in 2023 for 22 yards. He spent all last year on the practice squad.

Andre Baccellia 2025 contract details, cap hit

He signed a futures deal for 2025 after the season was over, making $1.03 million in salary if he makes the roster. That will be his cap hit as well. None of his salary is guaranteed.

Questions he faces, roster outlook

Baccellia remains a player who just continues to stick around, although not quite on the roster. He is an option in the slot and can contribute in the return game.

But is he going to be able to do more than last year? He is unlikely to make the roster, and his best-case scenario will be the practice squad again, if that.
