Two OSU players took the first and second spot on the list, with the highest overall ratings
The video game EA Sports College Football 26 comes out at 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 10. This will be the second edition of the franchise’s reboot. Last year’s game was the first in 11 years and was among the best-selling video games in 2024.
The website for the game lists the top 100 players in the game. Players from The Ohio State University took the top two overall spots, and a couple others were also included in the top 100.
The players are ranked across various stats, including strength, change of direction, speed, agility, injury and awareness.
The top player, with an overall rating of 98, is Jeremiah Smith. Here are the rest of his stats, in the game:
Speed: 95
Strength: 79
Agility: 95
Change of direction: 93
Injury: 96
Awareness: 91
Smith was also one of the cover athletes for the game.
Just underneath him is Caleb Downs, also from OSU, with an overall rating of 96. Here’s his stats:
Speed: 93
Strength: 72
Agility: 95
Change of direction: 92
Injury:96
Awareness: 85
Other OSU players on the list include Carnell Tate (overall rating of 91) and Max Klare (overall rating of 91). Dontay Corleone, from the University of Cincinnati, was also included on the list with an overall rating of 92.
