The honorable mentions continue rolling in for Denver Broncos players.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler interviewed NFL executives, coaches and scouts to have them rank the top 10 players at 11 positions ahead of the 2025 season. Earlier this week, Nik Bonitto was named an honorable mention as a pass rusher.
Joining Bonitto in the honorable mention category is Broncos defensive lineman Zach Allen. NFL personnel ranked Dexter Lawrence, Chris Jones, Jalen Carter, Jeffery Simmons, Quinnen Williams, Leonard Williams, Nnamdi Madubuike, DeForest Buckner, Vita Vea and Cameron Heyward as the top ten defensive tackles in the league.
The top three honorable mentions at DT were Christian Wilkins, Derrick Brown and Allen.
Allen (6-5, 285 pounds) was named a second-team All-Pro last season after totaling 61 tackles, 40 quarterback hits, 8.5 sacks, one safety and one pass breakup in 16 games. He was recently ranked No. 90 on the 2025 NFL Top 100 list as voted on by players.
If he has another All-Pro-caliber season in 2025, Allen will likely crack the top ten next summer.
